ANYWAY, this was an idea @manbehindthemask and I have talked about a lot in our AU where January (6) and their oc Jules (12) are (adoptive) siblings. She is not pleased with his lack of imagination when it comes to the many opportunities for spilling equestrian blood. I thought it would be fun to finally do this idea and make her doll shelf a sort of mass cameo for artfight

A frosty conversation "is it an argument if no one wins?" is what the entry asks before the game. In this text exchange spanning a few weeks, frustrations and insecurities lead this argument to both parties' defeat. The jabs are meant to hurt, not really to solve the issue at hand. It feels real... and quite sad.

It would have looked a tad better if the width of the passage was a bit thinner (like 500px). Sometimes the timing of the next message is a bit awkward

When I tell you my jaw literally dropped, there aren’t enough words in the English language to thank you. Almost my whole life you were the only person who never made me doubt myself, who never made me hide who I was out of fear of not being accepted. No matter what the topic is you always encourage me and I do the same because I mean anyone who knows you knows you’re a genius. We make a wonderful team and besides my joy and gratitude at seeing this there’s a sense of pride of how much you’ve grown and that you did this for me. Thank you, so so so so much. I love you and I’ll be able to pick you up and spin you around someday in a great big hug.

The time has come again to celebrate the day my best friend came into the world! A day I was so excited for that I started working on this gift two weeks in advance just to make sure I had time to create something extra special for her 20th birthday. @frostcorpsclub, we have been practically inseparable for over seven years. We have quite literally grown up together, and it’s been amazing to see you grow into the woman you are just as I was becoming the woman I am. Year by year you have become more confident, more creative, more open-hearted with all the love you have to share with the world. It has been an immense privilege to be by your side over the course of this journey, to be there with you through every milestone of these last seven years just as you have been there for mine. Through all my own personal highs and lows I would have wanted nobody else sticking by me as my best friend. I know I say this to you all the time but I love you and I am so proud of you. 

Glam, I am so thankful you are in my life. You have enriched my life in a way I could never imagine, and I cannot wait for all the amazing moments we have yet to experience together. From silly spontaneous conversations where we laugh our asses off about little ponies or evil snowmen, to the kinds of life-changing moments we have dreamed about for years. For now, enjoy this birthday and know that you have so many friends who love you.

As for your gift, I knew a birthday like this warranted a gift that went all out, so I decided to really stretch myself and practice some brand new art techniques with Begotten Waves (ponified January Frost) as the star! All for you, best friend. I hope it makes your day ❤️
